I am keeping up with the monthly challenges over on Tag It Tuesday. This months prompts were: Add numbers, use a crimper or use something corrugated, use a roller stamp and use/add an envelope. I didn't use a roller stamp, but other than that followed the prompts.
Cut a tag from Clarity stencil card using the largest nested arch tag die.
Blend Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide over the top half of the tag and Mermaid Lagoon Distress Oxide over the bottom of the tag using foam tools.
Remove some of the colour using a damp paper towel through the A4 Dot Wave stencil from Claritystamp. Using the Alphabet and Numbers Word Chain stamp set, add numbers in Mermaid Lagoon and Cobalt Blue Archival inks. Tear a strip of white corrugated card, add it to the left hand side of the tag and shape the top to match the tag. Drag the Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide lightly over the corrugated card. Add Mermaid Lagoon Oxide around the edges of the corrugated card. Make an envelope out of a piece of scrap Yupo paper from a previous project (see HERE). Draw the template on the back. Fussy cut the envelope and score along the fold lines. Add narrow tape to stick the envelope together. Use tape to add the envelope to the tag. Stick down the flap. To finish, add three of Barbara’s word stickers.
