I have only just got round to sharing a late calendar page for July.  I couldn't resist a play with the new Dotted Deer stamps from Clarity Crafts.  Here is what I made.

#dailyatc2026: July So Far

I have completed the next part of this year's challenge to myself - a daily ATC, following the prompts over on 365 days of drawing prompts and other art and using Clarity stamps, stencils and stickers.  Here are my offerings for the first half of July.

I used one of the Wonky Tree stamps from Timestamp Creations and added a pot with a micron pen.

A couple of NDC stamps came in handy.

As always, I have used the alphabet stamps from Timestamp Creations to label each of my ATCs.

Plaids and Stripes Stencils: Ideas and Inspiration

 As stencils are flavour of the month with Clarity Crafts at the moment, I thought I would look back at the projects I completed using the Plaids and Stripes 8" x 8" stencils.  As usual, links to each project appear below each photo.

WOYWW 893/113: Last Day!

My desk shows some of the Clarity goodies which arrived for me lately as well as the usual affirmation cards.

Today is my last day at work before retiring for the second time.  I did handover with my successor yesterday and have two more lessons to teach and sets of books to mark.  After the post school staff get together I will be celebrating with a trip to the theatre to see Lord of the Dance - not very well planned given the England semi final!  I am hoping to catch up on BBC iPlayer when I get home without knowing the score.  Tomorrow I will be having a very long lie in, although I may also have to phone the dentist.  I had a deep clean last week and it seems to have set off one of my teeth.  I have had tooth ache since Sunday!

Off to Mum's on Friday and will do my visiting from there after we get back from our usual leisurely  breakfast at 'Spoons.  Stay safe and Happy WOYWW.

July Mid Month Challenge: Hot!

The mid month challenge for July over on Clarity Crafts Mini Makes & ATCs is a small piece of art work using a stencil with the theme of HOT! This is what I came up with.

Rainbow Wee Stencil Floral Swirls

I went with my favourite rainbow colours and used the edge of the stencil plate mate to add interest to this card.

Wee Floral Swirls on Kraft

I decided to work on Kraft card and use one of the Earth Element Card toppers for this card using the new Wee Floral Swirl Stencils.

Animals: Real or Imaginary

The prompt over on Try It On Tuesday is Animals Real or Imaginary so I thought these cute miniature cats and dogs would fit the bill.

Die cut a topper from Clarity stencil card using the largest nested hearts die.

Lay one of the abstract layout stencils across the topper and blend Kitsch Flamingo Distress in through the apertures.

Add touches of Picked Raspberry Distress ink, also using a Clarity stencil brush.

Stamp some of the Miniature Cats and Dogs images onto the topper in Black Soot Distress Archival ink.

Stamping directly onto the front of a 7” x 7” black card blank, add I and animals in Versamark ink. Heat emboss with silver embossing powder.

To finish, add the topper to the front of the card.

For my second sample using the Floral Swirl Wee Stencils, I went with a panel card.

I love the new selection of Wee Stencils from Clarity Crafts.  I used the Floral Swirls set for my samples.  This was my first.

WOYWW 892 / 112: Four More Working Days

My desk shows my affirmation cards and one of the new Clarity mugs I bought at the Open Days to go with the one gifted to me by Barbara.  The earliest I can share my latest samples is tomorrow and the only other project I completed recently was a wedding card for a colleague, so that can't be shared yet either.

It is my final Awards' Evening tonight!  The performance at York went really well last Thursday although I was totally pooped on Friday.  Recorders again on Saturday with another group and then u3a rehearsal on Tuesday - it will be a musical week.  I am also doing a handover with my successor on Monday so retirement (II) seems closer than ever.
