Designer Thank You Card

Once again I combined a designer paper from CLarity with one of the block print stamp sets to create a masculine thank you card.

Choose a piece of Great Lakes designer paper. Die cut a topper from it using the 6” nested squares die and a mat from Clarity stencil card using the corresponding nested squares picot die.
Add the outer border image from the Block Print Thank You stamp set twice in Versamark ink and heat emboss with detail white embossing powder.
Add a second line of stamping above the first in the same manner but flipping the stamps.
Add the Thank You inner words from the same set between the borders in the same way.
To finish, mat up the topper and add it to the front of a 7” x 7” black card blank.

WOYWW 673: Only 3 Weeks

Well the school holidays may be over, but it is only 3 weeks until we celebrate the 13th anniversary of WOYWW - the longest running weekly blog hop going.  Thank you so much to Julia for getting it all started and everyone who takes part regularly - such a great group of crafters.

I must admit that my desk shot was taken yesterday afternoon as I got my #dailychallenge2022 ready for an early morning craft on a work day.  Here is a round up of the last 7 days as always.

I am currently working my way through a stash of K & Co floral stickers that I found in a drawer.

I am really looking forward to my second Tilly Tea Dance workshop on Saturday so hope to be able to share the results next week.  Stay safe and Happy WOYWW.

WOYWW 672: Less Painful

Morning everyone and welcome to my weekly desk share courtesy of Julia and Stamping Ground and the lovely crafters that make up WOYWW.

My desk shows preparations for my #dailychallenge2022 today as I am still in the habit of prepping the day before even though I am still on holiday from work this week.

I have been enjoying my lie ins but hope I won't struggle to get up at the usual time on Monday lol.
I did finish the friendship bracelet that was on my desk last week so thought I'd better off proof.  The sciatica is a lot less painful and I am now only noticing it if I have sat in the same position for too long.  Thanks for all the well wishes.  Stay safe everyone and Happy WOYWW.

Rainbow Locks!

I couldn't resist creating a rainbow panel card using the locks from the Key to My Heart A6 stamp set from Clarity.   For a change I made the panel vertical rather than horizontal.

Say It With Flowers: Part 3

I am still showing off the variety of Clarity floral stamps to celebrate #sayitwithflowers over the Easter weekend.  Today I have Barbara's Floral Walls stamp sets, Abstract Dandelions, Jayne Nestorenko's Rose and Lattice and the more recent A6 Floral stamps.  Step by steps are available below each photo.

So relaxing to colour (see HERE).

Say It With Flowers: Part 2

There are so many floral stamps from Claritystamp to choose from: Linocut Flowers, Poppies, Teasels and Alliums.  There are also the 3-way floral friend stamp sets and the original Alliums.  Just a small fraction of the possibilities.  Here are a selection of projects with links to step by step instructions and photos.

The linocuts make great backgrounds too (see HERE).

Daily Challenge Journal: April Part 1

Still working through my daily art journal for March and April.  I only have a couple of weeks to go before starting my third journal of the year.  Here are the latest pages.  As always, every page uses words stickers by Clarity - available on four different collections.

A couple of IndigoBlu backgrounds with some Tim Holtz Paper Dolls.

Papermania papers, Tim Holtz Ephemera and Crafty Individuals images.

A combination of IndigoBlu and Clarity designer paper backgrounds and more Crafty Individuals images.

Images from a book of die cuts from The Works.

Basicgrey papers, Crafty Individuals' images and die cut frames from Claritystamp.

More ephemera and papers from the Works die cut book.

Papermania papers, Tim Holtz ephemera, focal points from the Works die cut book plus a Clarity die cut leaf.
And so the first half of April ends with Papermania paper and ephemera from the Works die cut booklet.
