WOYWW 682: Two and A Half Weeks

Half way through my third to last week of term and starting to get tired.  Reports will be finished by Friday and I have the two days I work in the last week off to rewrite the curriculum ready for September.  I have planned to get this done by the end of July so I can enjoy August with no thought of work.

Anyway, you are here to see my desk as I join in with Julia and the gang for WOYWW via Stamping Ground.

Look what arrived on Saturday, along with the sprays and the Oxide reinker.  I have been pre ordering the new Tim Holtz colours since he started bringing the new ones out and haven't been disappointed yet.  I have already used the ink on a card and will be using the others before too long I am sure.

The daily journaling continues and I am in the middle of a run of four Autumn themed pages.  I can't believe the year will be half after tomorrow.

I am having trouble commenting on some blogs (Christine, Lyn, Lynne, Lilian and Susan).  For some reason I have been signed out of google on those blogs and it won't let me log back in.  I have no idea why as I am still logged in on other blogs.  So sorry - I do visit everyone but can't always leave a comment.

Stay safe and Happy WOYWW

Hoppy Birthday

I used some of the smaller stamps which come with two of the linocut stamp sets from Claritystamp to create this card.  I had fun with a pun too.

Rainbow Linocut Stamped Card

For my first sample using the new Apple Orchard linocut stamps from Clarity, I couldn't resist going with my favourite rainbow colour palette.

WOYWW 681: Three and A Half Weeks

Not that I am counting down to the holidays lol.  I will have time off in lieu during the last official week to get the curriculum rewritten otherwise it would be four weeks.  Any way you are here to see my desk as part of the WOYWW link via Julia and Stamping Ground so here goes...

Meet the grandkitty Jess.  She popped over on Father's Day with #2 son and paid a visit to the shed.  She hadn't been in it before and had a good look round.
I am still working on my daily journal.  I gesso the pages in case I want to use paint as a background rather than paper (in answer to a query).

I am trying more extended 4 page runs of themes where possible at the moment.  So looking forward to the crop and Eva and I have already sent our RSVP.  Thanks to Jo and Annie for taking on the bulk of organising.  Stay safe and Happy WOYWW.

Kitchen Themed Cards

I thought I'd bring together all the projects I have done using the Kitchen stamps from Claritystamp.  There are also themed sets for sewing, gardening and art.  As always, there are links to the step by step instructions below each card.

See HERE.

A Bright Clean and Simple Birthday Card

The Clarity Club die from March 2022 (#39) is a really versatile mandala die which comes in three parts and cuts five shapes in total. These can be used individually or in combination to create quick and easy but classy looking card. You can see the first card I made HERE. For the second card, I used the smallest die multiple times to create a bright panel card.

Use A Die Cut on A Tag

The latest challenge over on Tag Tuesday is 'Use a die cut'.  Not a problem as I have every die that Claritystamp has ever produced to choose from.  Here's what I ended up making using the Five Dandelions Aperture die.

Latest Daily Journal Round Up

Halfway through June already and my daily quick journal page challenge continues.  I have barely made a dent in the stickers and papers I have accumulated so it may well continue into 2023.  As always each page is finished with stickers from one of the four word collections from Claritystamp.

I started with some of the Anitas' leaf stickers.

Followed by some fun fish stickers from Craft Planet on PaperMania background paper.

I then went back to a more vintage theme with IndigoBlu backgrounds and Paper Dolls.

Carrying on with a vintage theme with Crafty Individuals focal images.

And continuing in the same manner.

I decided to step away from a vintage look and use some of my dragonfly and butterfly stickers on the next few pages.

WOYWW 680: Still So Busy

The end of the school year is in sight but things are not easing up yet.  We are in the middle of assessments and Friday is sports' day so equally busy.  I seem to have just as many projects on the go at home too.

I am getting plenty of prep. for my #dailychallenge2022 done in advance and have nearly finished gessoing all the pages of my July/August journal.  I also posted off eight samples on Monday ready for shows on Friday this week.  Expecting more secret stuff any time ready for the first Sunday in July as well.

I have been going for longer runs of pages with a similar theme and am currently working my way through butterfly and dragonfly stickers.  Don't forget to visit Julia at Stamping Ground to find out more about WOYWW and the reason why my desk is always shown on a Wednesday.  Hoping for a short meeting after school tonight after the marathon twilight session last week.  Stay safe and Happy WOYWW.
