Here Comes the Sun: A Tag

 The latest prompt over on Tag Tuesday is Here Comes the Sun - apt indeed for the recent weather.  I played around with a Clarity New Design Club die to create mine.

A 'Pawsome' Card

I adore these new wee cats and dogs stamps from Claritystamp and couldn't resist my trademark rainbow theme with a play on words.

Heartfelt Congratulations

For my first sample made with one of the new A5 Burst stencils from Claritystamp, I made this congratulations card.  The stencil makes the perfect backdrop for the Wee Folk stamps.

WOYWW 686: Enjoying the Break

 I will probably be a little later than usual linking up with Julia and WOYWW today as it is the first Wednesday of my holidays.  Here is my desk yesterday after my new sopranino recorder arrived.

I have a Garklein Floetlein (the smallest recorder and an octave above descant) arriving later in the week and will probably leave my collection there.  I used to own a tenor recorder too but have no idea where it has got to.

I have updated all the resources and schemes of work for next year so far but still need to update all the curriculum leader paperwork including rewriting the progress maps in the new format.  I hope to have this finished by the end of the week so I can enjoy the rest of the holidays.

As you can see, I have finished my butterfly pages, completed four Paris based pages and have started a run of fantasy based pages (most recent is at the top).  

The recorder concert went quite well last week although I still fluffed a few notes.  Rehearsals are every other Tuesday so had fun yesterday too.  Look forward to seeing what you all have on your desks this week.  Stay safe and Happy WOYWW.

I combined balloon stamps and one of the Clarity New Design Club dies to create this birthday card.

Stencilled Background for a Scene

I ran with Barbara Gray's project idea of using one of the Clarity New Design Club stencils as a backround for a scene which I created for this birthday card.  I changed the mask and the colours that were used in the original project though.

I only used two of the seven stamps that were the June 2022 Clarity New Design Club offering.  Lots of ways to make borders and frames.  Here I used the sentiment to create a sympathy card.

WOYWW 685: Too Hot

Welcome to the latest weekly sharing of the desk c/o Julia's Stamping Ground and WOYWW.

My desk shows the early morning #dailychallenge2022 prep before heading into work.  I have been called in as I am only allowed one day off for curriculum rewriting so have chosen the day when the leavers' assembly and staff leavers' do are taking place.  Today really will be my last day before the holidays.

The journal continues each morning.

Hubby and #3 son have done some tidying in the garden but it is really too hot to do much at the moment.  We need to get the plants in though as the high temperatures are not doing them much good.

Farewell Colleague: Keep In Touch

I made this card as a personal farewell to a highly regarded colleague.  I would love it if she keeps in touch so included the telephone Clarity New Design Club stamp on it.

Key To My Heart Anniversary Card

I used a previously unused Clarity New Design Club stamp to make my husband's anniverary card this year.

Daily Journal Pages: Over Half Way

 The year is now more than half over and I have started on my 4th 6" x 6" kraft scrapbook on my daily journal journey.  Apart from the first page, I have started working in batches of four.  As always, every page is finished using one of the Clarity words stickers - there are four books of stickers available.

I started with some of my new Tim Holtz collage squares and a Clarity die cut.

Followed by some of the Studiolight Just Lou Exploration die cuts.

And the Jenine's Mindful Art Collection papers and die cuts.

The background for these pages is a paper mat which I picked up ina Hungarian restaurant when we visited Roumania before the pandemic.

WOYWW 664: Two Days to Go

 Only today and Friday to go and my holidays have started.  Still have to rewrite the MFL curriculum for next year but that will be done before the end of July.  But you are here to see my desk and join in with WOYWW courtesy of Julia.

Getting ready to publish my #dailychallenge2022 journal page as always.  I finally cut up a paper place mat that I picked up in a Hungarian restaurant when we visited Roumania back in February 2019.  It made four great pages with the paper dolls.

Yesterday I went along to a recorder group that my brother has started conducting.  I hadn't played for ages and they have a concert next week, but I had a lot of fun and really enjoyed myself.  I will be going back.  Tonight is Awards' Night in school and I will be staying in school until it finishes.  Won't be visiting until the morning therefore as I won't get home until after 9pm.
