Stencil Fun
I thought I'd bring together a series of projects using stencils with various techniques. For this series of cards I used the Towns & Hills A5 stencils from Claritystamp.
For the first one I used a brayer clean up sheet as a starting point (see HERE for step by step).Wednesday, 26 May 2021
WOYWW 625: Post Anniversary Treat
Back for a nother week of joining in with the fun and fellowship which is WOYWW - one week closer to the 13th anniversary in 51 weeks time lol. Please feel free to join in or just visit via Stamping Ground, where Julia keeps us all organised.
My desk this week shows the latest additions to my Tilly Tea Dance felted picture collection. I decided to treat myself. They look rather good in my gallery, along with a hand made pottery bowl which was a birthday gift from Barbara Gray. I did manage to make two ATCs for the anniversary which have been sent off to my PIF (Bleubeard and Elizabeth) and Julia. Yesterday I received beautiful happy mail from Sylvia (on the right) all the way from Iowa, USA and a totally unexpected gift from Zsuzsa - I am so sorry that I don't have any ATCs left to send in return.I have also been keeping up with my daily drawing resolution.
I am not sure that my penny farthing would get very far alas. Thanks for all the visits last week - I made it round to everyone eventually. I'll be round in the morning to see everyone, as I have a meeting after school this evening - roll on next week's holiday! Stay safe and Happy WOYWW

WOYWW 624: 12 Years and Still Going Strong
Welcome to my contribution to the 12th anniversary edition of WOYWW and many congratulations to Julia at Stamping Ground for coming up with the idea so many years ago and keeping things going. Please do join in with the celebrations over at home base.
As you can see, my desk is not much different to usual. My sketchbook is centre stage ready for my #drawingaday. I have actually made an ATC for my PIF (hope everyone is sitting down with that news). I haven't got a postcard yet but intend to source one tomorrow. I am hoping that we may be able to have an in person crop later in the year and I will have lots of tags ready for swapping at that point. Here are the latest drawings. I am afraid that there is no-one on the other side of the desk to show. I was busy making samples all day and Eva had too much to do for work. I had happy mail yesterday morning. At the bottom is a lovely postcard from LLJ. The photo at the top is one I found of a Dalek costume that I had ten days notice to make when #1 son was in the Nursery class at school. How he has survived to 28 I will never know lol. Happy WOYWW 12th anniversary everyone and I'll be over to visit in the morning.

Daily Drawings in May: The Story So Far
I started working in my second Daler Rowney sketchbook at the start of this month in my quest to draw every day in 2021. Here is this month's offerings so far.
For this drawing I admit that I followed a tutorial (see HERE) as this prompt took me way out of my comfort zone. I usually avoid drawing people if I can.

WOYWW 623: One Week to the Anniversary
Another week, another Wednesday and another WOYWW contribution (please visit Stamping Ground where Julia will enlighten you about it). Only one week until the 12th anniversary.
My desk looks as it does every morning. Ready for the #drawingaday in my sketchbook. I do sometimes do a pencil sketch the day before if I am going to be busy before work, but the inking is always done on the day itself. Here is the latest week's worth. As you can see, Eva was on the other side of the desk yesterday morning. Still wearing a mask with door and window open. By next week we will both be post second vaccination and masks will no longer be required in schools. I did pass on everyone's best wishes after her last visit. I'll be round to visit as always later today or tomorrow morning. Can't wait to find out who my PIF will be next week. I just need to get a postcard now. Stay safe and happy WOYWW.

Butterfly Panel Birthday Card
For my second sample made with the Claritystamp Offer of the Week, I used the individual foliage stamps rather than the wreath to make this panel card for a birthday.
