Feathered Friends Scene within an Aperture Die

I created a small aperture in one of the Mixed Media dies to stamp a waterside scene using some of the new Feathered Friends Miniatures stamps.  I think it works rather well and hope you do too.
Use the Rocky Block Aperture die and the 5.75” nested square picot die to cut a topper from black card.
Cut away part of the aperture.
Lay the topper over the front of a 6” x 6” white card blank for positioning and add the Kingfisher and the smaller Nuthatch from the Feathered Friends Miniatures stamp set in Nocturne Versafine Clair ink. Mask up the moorhen.
Stamp reeds from the canal boat stamp set across the bottom of the inner aperture in Morning Mist Versafine Clair ink then remove the mask.
Colour the birds using Faber-Castell Polychromos.
Lay the aperture over the top of the card and gently blend Tumbled Glass Distress ink through the centre aperture.
Glue the topper onto the front of the card, lining it up with the stamping.
To finish, add two of the Christmas & Celebrations Word stickers.
