Butterfly Grunge

For this card I combined two of the new Cherry Green Butterfly stamps with some of the Art Grunge stamps and the heart backdrop stamps from Claritystamp.

Die cut a topper from Clarity stencil card using the 5” nested square die and a mat from black card using the 5.25” nested square picot die.

Stamp two of the Cherry Green’s Butterflies from set two onto the topper in Morning Mist Versafine Clair ink and mask them up.

Add weathered Wood Distress Oxide to the small heart backdrop stamp using a foam tool, lift some ink using some small bubble wrap and stamp the heart over the top. Remove the masks.

Colour the butterflies using Faber-Castell Polychromos.

Add a sentiment using the Entwined Sentiments stamps in Nocturne Versafine Clair ink.

Stamping directly onto the edges of a 6” x 6” white card blank, add stamping in Mustard Seed and Carved Pumpkin Distress Oxides using stamps from the Art Grunge set.

To finish, mat up the topper and add it to the front of the card blank.
