Butterflies in a Cloudy Sky

The new Dotted Butterfly stamps are one of Clarity's Products of the Month for June.  They are so pretty.  Here is the first sample I made using them.

Get Well Soon

One of the support staff at school was injured over Easter and won't be back in school until near the end of the year.  This is the card I made for us all to send.

WOYWW 886 / 106: A Nice Break

Welcome to the weekly sharing of desks which is WOYWW (What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday?), the brainchild of Julia, who kindly entrusted it to me to continue after the first 15 years of togetherness.  Please feel free to link up your desk and visit others' - we are a friendly bunch.

You may notice the lovely new pots on my desk as well as my affirmation cards from Clarity.  I choose a new one each time I go into the shed.  I have been working like mad on samples as they need posting this afternoon.  I did take some time out yesterday afternoon for my U3A recorder group.

It has certainly been warm since the end of last week.  I have broken out the shorts and will be in summer dresses for the remainder of the school year.  Only seven more weeks to go.  I must admit, that I ready for my second retirement.

Hope the heat doesn't get to anyone too much.  Stay safe and Happy WOYWW.

Rainbow SHAC Dancing Girls

I do love a rainbow colour palette and combined the SHAC Dancing Girls and Set 1 of the Blooms and Sentiment Stalks from Clarity Crafts to create this card.

WOYWW 885 / 105: A Wonderful Tribute

Welcome to the weekly sharing of desks which is WOYWW (What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday?), the brainchild of Julia, who kindly entrusted it to me to continue after the first 15 years of togetherness.  Please feel free to link up your desk and visit others' - we are a friendly bunch.

My desk shows the beautiful ATC and ATC turned into a card which I received from Whipso and Twiglet.  They were made in memory of Neet and are truly beautiful - thank you so much.  It was lovely to see so many reminders of her last week on people's desks and her funeral service which many of us have seen vie the virtual link was a wonderful tribute.

I have been keeping up with my #dailyatc2026 and you can see the first half of May HERE.

These bring you all up to date.

Today sees my last day at work before half term and yesterday lunchtime marked the half way (work) mark from my return to work until my second retirement in July.  Seven weeks after half term and I will once again have more time for crafting.

Stay safe and Happy WOYWW.

Waimea Falls Hopi Dancers

I thought one of the Waimea Falls Petite card backgrounds would work well with the Hopi Dancer stamps from Clarity Crafts.  This is what I ended up with.

#dailyatc2026 May So Far

WOYWW 884 / 104 : 17th Anniversary

Welcome to the weekly sharing of desks which is WOYWW (What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday?), the brainchild of Julia, who kindly entrusted it to me to continue after the first 15 years of togetherness and today celebrating our 17th anniversary.  Please feel free to link up your desk and visit others' - we are a friendly bunch.

A bittersweet anniversary, as Neet's funeral is tomorrow.  I had a wonderful couple of hours at the weekend looking through all the ATCs I have swapped, in person or via the post, with WOYWWers from all over the world.  My desk today shows those I received from Neet over the years, including  the one from the last crop in 2024.

I started my blog in August 2015 and joined in with WOYWW for the first time 11 days later thanks to being introduced to everyone by my sister-in-law Pat (see HERE).  Many of you have been joining in for a lot longer than I have and although people have come and gone, many are still here who were in at the start.

If you would like to offer ATC swaps, please feel free to say so on your blog.

Many of us will be paying our respects to Neet tomorrow afternoon at 2.30pm via the webcast.

I look forward to hosting WOYWW going forward and would like to thank Julia (and Jan) for bringing us all together.

Sympathy Card

Sadly, you never know when you might need a sympathy card.  I used the Tall Art Deco Sentiment stamps and coordinating embedder stencil which are two of Clarity's Products of the Month for May to create this card.

Gender Reveal Card

I decided to use a couple of the Tall Art Deco Sentiments which are one of Clarity's Products of the Month for May to create this gender reveal card.
