Daily Drawing Latest: inktober2019 part 2

I am very proud of myself for keeping up with my resolution to do a daily drawing in 2021.  I have now finished catching up with all the inktober 2019 prompts and will be starting on the 2017 prompts now as I took part in inktober 2018 at the time.  My drawings are getting quicker and I am feeling more confident the more I do.

Drawn from my head.
Another of my own thoughts, the idea for this prompt actually came quickly.
I did copy this image (see HERE).
A quick sketch as it was a work day.
Using an online tutorial (see HERE).
Another quickie on a work day.
At the weekend so took another tutorial (see HERE).
As I had drawn a dizzy sketch for inktober 2020 I wanted something different this time.
No help needed with this prompt.
A quick idea, after all dark is the absence of light.
Another tutorial followed (see HERE).
Copied from an image (see HERE).
Another quick idea.
An idea for a different response.
My first thought but copied from an image (see HERE).

I have enough space in my Daler-Rowney cartridge paper sketchbook to see me through to the end of April so will certainly be continuing with my daily drawings.

Colourful Block Panel Thank You Card

The character block tile stamps from Clarity combine well with the silhouette stamps.  Here, I kept it simple to create this colourful thank you card.

Small Card: Big Friends

I love the backdrop stamps by Clarity for making quick and effective backgrounds,  Here I used the new small square stamp and teamed it with the character silhouette stamps.

MDF Heart Tag

I haven't worked with MDF for a while and as I have a number of these MDF heart tag blanks from Clevercut decided to work on one of the larger pieces.

WOYWW 608: Back and Forth

Welcome to my weekly Wednesday contribution to WOYWW where crafters share their workspaces and link up via our lovely leader Julia at Stamping Ground.  Please pop over and see what it's all about.

There's a feeling of deja vu about my desk today.  I am still keeping up with my daily drawings and not much esle I can share as I have been working on samples and can't share those yet.  Please let me know if you are sick of seeing the same thing each week.  I will be starting on the inktober2017 prompts tomorrow and I have found enough daily drawing prompt lists to keep me going for the rest of this year.

Sending healing vibes and gentle hugs to Shaz (Silverwolf).  Happy WOYWW everyone, I'll be round to visit later as I am working from school this week.

Layered Panels Birthday Card

The Clarity straight edged and picot edged nested dies are perfect for this layering technique.  Here I used the rectangles, but the squatres and circles would work just as well.

Funky Fibre Paste Journal Page

I hadn't created a journal page in my square journal for nearly a year, nor used my fibre paste.  I decided to combine both with a stencil I hadn't used since receiving it as my Clarity club offering in August 2019.  Combined with never before used ink sprays and Washi tape a really great use of NBUs (never before used).

WOYWW 607: No Commuting

Morning and welcome to my weekly desk sharing with the lovely Julia and the rest of the WOYWW gang over on Stamping Ground.  If you pop over you will find all explained.

I am working from home delivering distance learning after all this week, as it was decided to keep the status quo with the rota for the time being.  Hence breakfast in the shed as I get ready for the day with my daily drawing sketchbook.  I had a slight glitch Monday morning with my computer but managed to resolve it by closing everything down and rebooting.  Hope everything goes smoothly today and Friday.  Next week I will be in school delivering lessons and inviting pupils along who are in school in the hubs.

I have tried to keep things simple with the drawings this week and still enjoy coming up with ideas for the prompts.  Stay safe and happy WOYWW.

Floral Tag with Die Cut Foil

There is a new format for the challenges over on Tag It Tuesday this year. There are four techniques, of which two are the minimum and two colours of which one must be used. This month’s techniques are: Add aluminium foil, use a white crayon to resist ink, add paint using the edge of a card to make lines, add a piece of fabric. This month’s colours are blue and Forest Green. I used both colours and three of the techniques.
I started by adding the top layer of a piece of paper towel with Forest Moss and Fossilized Amber ink on it to a #8 manilla tag, sealed it with matte medium and dried thoroughly.
Next, I tore off a second layer and added it in the same way at the top.
Next, I added flower stems and grass using Olive Green Light and Permanent Green Light Amsterdam acrylic paint and the edge of an old season card.
For one of the flower heads, I used the smallest Heart Blossom Picot Flower die to cut aluminium foil. I also cut a couple of the smallest Stellar Blooms Picot Flowers in the same way.
I added alcohol inks (Indigo and Sail Boat Blue) to the foil.
To attach the flower heads to the tag, I used double sided tape behind the centres only.
Fabric flowers were added to the centre of each foil flower using brads.
To finish, I added several of Barbara’s Word stickers.

My Daily Drawing Challenge: Inktober2019 Part 1

My new year's resolution was to commit to a daily drawing in my Daler Rowney cartridge paper sketchbook.  As I didn't take part in #inktober2019 at the time, I started by following those prompts.
