Paper Pieced Macaw Card

In line with my plan to use stamps, stencils and dies received from Clarity in 2020 through my membership of their monthly clubs,  I created this card featuring the Macaw which was April's offering from the stamp club.  I have renewed my membership for 2021 and look forward to receiving my first goodies.

Cut a topper from Clarity stencil card using the 3.5” nested circle die. Cut a mat from black card using the 3.75” nested circle picot die.

Stamp NDC stamp #162 (Macaw) onto a piece of Amazonia designer paper three times in Onyx Black Versafine ink.

Paper piece the image mixing the three images and fussy cut.

Stamp the branch from the Kingfisher stamp set onto the topper in Onyx Black Versafine ink. Mat up the topper.

Add the macaw to the topper.

Stamping directly onto the front of a 10cm x 10cm white card blank, add the A5 Rusted Metal Mixed Impressions Texture stamp in Carved Pumpkin and Peeled Paint Distress Oxide.

Add the topper to the front of the card.

To finish, add one of Leonie’s word stickers.
