Happy Alphabet Icons with Butterfly Verse

I decided to use some of the Happy ALphabet Icon stamps to create a frame for one of the Clarity Poetry Verse stamps.

Die cut a topper from Clarity stencil card using the 3” nested circle die. Cut a mat from black card using the 3.25” nested circle picot die.

Stamp the Happiness verse from Poetry Verses set 1 onto the topper in Onyx Black Versafine ink.

Add some of the tiny butterfly icons from the Happy Alphabet set in the same ink.

Colour the butterflies with Faber-Castell Polychromos. Mat up the topper.

Lay the topper onto the front of a 5” x 5” white card blank. Mark the location lightly in pencil. Stamping directly onto the front of the card, add further icons into the corners and around the edges in the same ink as before.

To finish, erase the pencil lines and add the topper to the centre of the card.
