It's A Boy: New Baby Card

The arrival on the scene of the new Feathered Friends Miniatures stamp set from Claritystamp opens up all sorts of possibilities.  Here, I used the individual owl with the original larger sized owl trio to create a new baby card.

Stamping Directly onto the front of a 6” x 6” white card blank, add the individual owl from the Feathered Friends Miniatures stamp set in Medieval Blue Versafine Clair ink and mask it up.

Add the trio of owls from the Wise Owls set behind the individual owl in Morning Mist Versafine Clair ink. Remove the mask.

Colour the owls using Faber-Castell Albrecht Dürer Watercolour pencils blended out with a watercolour brush pen.

Mask up the owls and add Tumbled Glass Distress ink through the Sunshine stencil using a Clarity stencil brush. Remove the masks.

To finish, add ‘Congratulations’ (Mini Word Chains 11&12) and ‘It’s A Boy’ (Mini word Chains 9&10) in Medieval Blue Versafine Clair ink.
