Farewell Colleague: Keep In Touch

I made this card as a personal farewell to a highly regarded colleague.  I would love it if she keeps in touch so included the telephone Clarity New Design Club stamp on it.

Stamp the NDC telephone stamp (#135) into the centre of a piece of Clarity stencil card in Nocturne Versafine Clair ink.

Colour the image using Faber-Castell Polychromos (#233, #234, #235).

Add the smallest rounded corner square embedder over the top of the image using temporary double-sided tape.

Turn the card over and use Groovi tools to go round the embedder so it sits into the card.

With the embedder still in place, lay the Dotty Wave stencil over the top and attach at the top with low tack tape.

Blend Uncharted Mariner and Salvaged Patina Distress inks through the apertures with foam tools. Remove the stencil and embedder.

Mat the topper onto dark teal card and trim leaving a narrow border.

Add to the front of an 8” x 8” white card blank.

To finish, add some Salvaged Patina distress ink to one of Barbara’s Words stickers and add it to the front of the card.
