Birthday Card for a Son

I decided to turn this stencilled image into a birthday card for one of my sons.

Attach the Clarity club stencil from April 2022 (#98) to a piece of Clarity stencil card with low tack tape.

Blend Mermaid Lagoon, Broken China and Tumbled Glass Oxides through the apertures creating an ombre effect from top left to bottom right. Remove the stencil.

Die cut the topper using the 6” nested square die and a mat from dark turquoise card using the corresponding nested square picot die.

Die cut into the topper using the largest nested heart doodle frame-its aperture die.

Mat up the topper.

Brush Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide around the edges of a 7” x 7” white card blank.

Add the topper to the card.

To finish, add Happy 28th Birthday Son using the Entwined Sentiments, Barbara’s Relations and Months and Numbers in Mermaid Lagoon Archival ink.
