Birthday Card: Stamping, Tessellating and Masking to Create a Wall

This is a second example using two of the Garden Flower Stamp sets from Barbara Gray and Claritystamp.  You can still see the shows on catch up from yesterday afternoon (Hochanda 2-4pm).
I stamped the Stone Wall stamp in Ground Espresso Distress Oxide onto a piece of Clarity stencil card trimmed to 6" x 6".  I continued stamping, masking the wall as necessary until I had built it up in the way I wanted.  The red lines on the masks indicate where to add the next stamp to tessellate the wall.

I masked the top of the wall and added the daisies from the Meadow Daisies set in Onyx Black Versafine ink.  Once the mask is removed it looks as if the daisies are peeping out from behind the wall and the snail is crawling along the top.
I coloured the wall using Ground Espresso Oxide and a water brush.
The cloud mask from Claritystamp together with water colouring using Salty Ocean Distress Oxide and a water brush, created the sky.
Next, I coloured the flowers and leaves using water colour pencils and a water brush.
The piece was trimmed to 5.5" x 5.5" and matted onto dark brown card leaving a narrow border.
To finish, I die cut Happy Birthday out of dark brown card, using the sentiment from the Happy Birthday Floral Frames die set (Claritystamp).  This was added to the sky.  The topper was then added to a 6" x 6" white card blank.
