Rainbow Thank You Hearts

I went with my signature rainbow colours using some of my favourite Distress colours to make a thank you card with Clarity Crafts New Design Club stamps from April 2023.

We Go Together Like the Leaves on the Trees: An Anniversary Card

Having received a rather large order from the last Claritystamp sale I thought I had better start playing with my new goodies.  I started with the New Design Club #87 back order stamp.

Four Seasons Concertina Tag Card

I was delighted when the last Clarity New Design Club stamp of 2020 (#170) dropped through the letterbox as it meant that I was finally able to finish a project which I started in 2018.

Using Three Way Overlay Stamps with a Twist

I had a sudden brainwave how to use this set of Treescape three way overlay stamps in a different way.  Rather than layering the stamping up, I decided to mix and match the images in a different way.  I ended up with a card and matching tag.

Layers on Layers: Oxides, Archival inks and Gold Embossing

This is one of my most popular blog posts and looking back one of my favourite projects too.  I wanted to use a layering technique on a card, using Distress Oxides for the base layer.  At the time, I had also received the fabulous Peacock and Peacock Feathers stamps designed by Linda Williams for Claritystamp and wanted to see how the new extra fine line art worked with embossing powders.  The results were amazing and the photos really don't do the card justice!

Challenge Tag with an Hawaii Theme

Having caught up with the July prompts over on Tag It Tuesday, I decided to get fully up to date and complete the August challenge as well.  The four prompts were:  1) Doodle flowers and vines, 2) Add a border to at least one side, 3) Make a grid of circles / squares / objects, 4) Use primary colours. Once again I managed to use all the prompts although only two are needed for the challenge.

Ocean Swirls Birthday Card

Because the Clarity Mixed Impressions Texture stamps already have layers within them, they work particularly well with Distress Oxides to create extra background interest.  This is the technique I used for the background to this birthday card, using the Ocean Swirls set.

A Retirement Card using the Alphabet Jungle Stamp Stamps

The Alphabet Jungle Stamp stamps are brilliant for creating scenes or adding pictures inside the stamps.  For my first sample with the stamps, I used the alphabet jungle stamp behind the stamps to create a Retirement panel card.

Clean and SImple Fairy on Kraft Card

Once again, I used one of the smaller stamps that come with this set (Mel's A Touch of Magic) to decorate a frame for this clean and simple fairy card.

Happy Birthday Friend!

I made this piece of art work/card for a good friend whose birthday is today.  As I have been unable to get it to her, she will have to have a virtual version until it is safe to deliver it.

Mini Envelope on a Tag

I am keeping up with the monthly challenges over on Tag It Tuesday.  This months prompts were: Add numbers, use a crimper or use something corrugated, use a roller stamp and use/add an envelope.  I didn't use a roller stamp, but other than that followed the prompts.

Texture Stamp Background

A large background can be created from smaller stamps by repeat stamping and overlaying images.  I enjoyed building up an A5 background using Distress oxides and one of the new Chinese Lanterns Mixed Impressions texture stamps from Claritystamp.
