Inky Background Birthday Card

I had a play with the latest Clarity club stamps and some of the new Distress Oxides to create this birthday card.

Die cut a topper from Clarity stencil card using the 5” nested squares die and a topper from black card using the 5.25” nested squares picot die.

Add Kitsch Flamingo and Prize Ribbon Distress Oxides to a messy mat, spritz with water and drag the topper through them.

Dry and repeat the process, this time just using Kitsch Flamingo.

Blend Shaded Lilac Distress Oxide over the top with a blending brush, spritz with water, dab off the water with a paper towel and dry.

Go over the topper with talc and a stencil brush, then stamp the July 2021 Clarity club stamp (#177) in Versamark ink into the top corner. Heat emboss with white embossing powder.

Add further wreaths in the same way.

Add the sentiment from the same stamp set randomly onto the topper using the same technique.

To finish, mat up the topper and add it to the front of a 6” x 6” white card blank.
