Splatter Birthday!

Clean and simple, grungy or both?  I couldn't decide which way to go with this birthday card using the July 2021 Clarity New Design Club stencil.

Die cut a topper from Clarity stencil card using the 1.5” x 2.5” nested rectangles die and a mat from black card using the corresponding nested rectangles picot die.

Stamp Happy Birthday onto the topper in Nocturne Versafine Clair ink using the Entwined Sentiments stamp.

Once dry, attach the topper to the front of a 6” x 6” white card blank using a temporary glue runner.

Lay the July 2021 Clarity Club stencil (#86) over the top and blend Salvaged Patina Distress ink through the largest splat over the topper and the card front.

Repeat with the bubble splat in Cracked Pistachio Distress ink.

Add the final splat in the top left corner of the card using Peacock Feathers Distress ink.

To finish, remove the topper and mat it up.

Add it back to the front of the card, lining up the splats.
