Paper Pieced Roses

I decided to combine some of the lovely Clarity designer paper from the Amazonia range with this beautiful new stamp set from Clarity.

1 Die cut a topper from Amazonia designer paper using the 5.5” nested square die and a mat from black card using the 5.75” nested square picot die.

2 Stamp Jayne’s Rose frame into the centre of the topper in Versamark ink and heat emboss with detail white embossing powder.

3 Add one of the verses into the aperture at the bottom in the same manner.

4 Die cut the centre using the 3” nested circle die and mat up the topper.

5 Stamp and heat emboss the rose into the centre of the topper in the same way as before.

6 Stamp the rose a second time onto the circle die cut and heat emboss.

7 Cut out the rose and rose bud and paper piece them to the card.

8 Colour the leaves with Sakura Moonlight pens.

9 To finish, add the topper to the front of a 6” x 6” white card blank.
