Challenge Tag with an Hawaii Theme

Having caught up with the July prompts over on Tag It Tuesday, I decided to get fully up to date and complete the August challenge as well.  The four prompts were:  1) Doodle flowers and vines, 2) Add a border to at least one side, 3) Make a grid of circles / squares / objects, 4) Use primary colours. Once again I managed to use all the prompts although only two are needed for the challenge.

Working on a #8manilla tag and using the Framework Squares stencil from Clarity, add different shades of yellow Distress Oxides (Mustard Seed, Scattered Straw, Fossilized Amber) to the tag. (Prompt 3 / 4)
Once the ink is dry, add Candied Apple Oxide through the Framework Circles stencil. (Prompt 3 /4)
Use one of the Sue Wilson Gemini (Ursa) dies to cut a border from blue card. Add it to the right hand side of the tag and trim any excess. (Prompt 2 / 4)
Doodle Hibiscus flowers into the circles – I followed Barbara Gray’s instructions on YouTube. (Prompt 1)
Add highlights using a white gel pen.
To finish, and to add to the Hawaiian theme, add Aloha down the border using the Clarity Tall Letterbox Infill stamps in Versamark ink and heat emboss with detail white powder.
