The Pergamano Poppet stamps can be coloured but also work embossed onto dark card. Here I created an easel card.
Score the front of a 5” x 5” white card blank in half to make an easel base. Cut a second card in half for the front panel. Using the third largest nested heart die, cut a topper from black card. Stamp Pippa Flower Poppet onto the heart tipped on its side in Versamark ink. Heat emboss in detail white powder. Add a little purple acrylic paint to a glass mat, pick it up with a Speedball brayer and run the brayer round the edge of the front panel. Allow to dry. Repeat with with Violine paint. Add a third layer in Indian Pink. Add the Jo’s Flower Power stencil over the top and blend Victorian Velvet Distress Oxide through it. Move the stencil and continue until the topper is covered. Add colour to Pippa’s dress using a Sakura Moonlight pen. Add the heart to the background. Add the topper to the easel base. To create the easel stopper, add a 3cm wide piece of paper (used to clean off the brayer when creating the background) to the card base and trim it wither end. Add a 2.5cm strip off black card over the top with foam pads. To finish, add Barbara’s word stickers to the stopper and the card front.
