Toadstool in Mosaic Frame

I had fun coordinating colours with this toadstool themed card in a mosaic stencil frame using stamps and a stencil from Claritystamp.

Attach the mosaic box frame stencil to a piece of Clarity stencil card using masking tape to create a hinge at the top.

Add the square into the centre as a mask and blend Festive Berries, Aged Mahogany and Weathered Wood Distress Oxides through the frame.

Clean and replace the stencil. Mask off around the centre opening.

Stamp Barbara’s Woodland Toadstool Art Block into the centre in Weathered Wood Distress Oxide and dry thoroughly.

Colour the toadstool using Faber-Castell Polychromos (#169, #225, #126, #274, #275).

Add a little Aged Mahogany and Festive Berries Distress inks around the toadstool to create a vignette. Remove the stencil.

Die cut the frame using the 5.5” nested squares die and a mat from black card using the corresponding nested squares picot die.

Mat up the topper and add it to the front of a 6” x 6” white card blank.

To finish, add the sentiment, squirrel and snail from the same stamp set in Nocturne Versafine Clair ink.
