Beautiful Imperfections: A Colourful Background

This stamp set which is part of today's One Day Special from Claritystamp on The Craft Store is so versatile.  I had a great deal of fun creating a colourful background which needed little more than a sentiment to finish the card.

Die cut a topper from Clarity stencil card using the 5” nested squares dies and a mat from black card using the corresponding nested squares picot die.

Stamp the Clean and Tidy Round Layout Line stamp onto the topper in Nocturne Versafine Clair ink.

Use the inner shapes masks to mask up sections of the image.

Ink up the infill stamp with Wild Honey and Ripe Persimmon Distress Oxides using a foam tool and stamp over the line image.

Change some of the masking.

Add stamping in Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn Oxides using the infill stamp.

Change the masking again and add Broken China and Salty Ocean Oxides – remove all the masking.

Add one of Leonie’s Words stickers to the topper.

To finish, mat up the topper and add it to the front of a 6” x 6” white card blank.
