I love to use repeat stamping to create a frame for a sentiment or focal image. Here I used one of the blossom branches from the Garden Birds and Blossom set.
Trim a piece of Clarity stencil card to 6.5” x 6.5”. Use the circle inner from Framer stencil set 1 and draw round it in pencil in the centre of the card.
Using the circle as a guide, stamp the smallest blossom branch from the Garden Birds set six times in Onyx Black Versafine ink around the circle to create a wreath. Dry the ink and erase the pencil line.
Colour the branches using Derwent Inktense watercolour pencils blended out with a watercolour brush pen.
Add one of the Special Day Sentiments into the middle of the wreath in the same ink as before.
Mat onto black card leaving a very narrow border and add to the front of a 7” x 7” white card blank.
To finish, add a couple of Barbara’s Word stickers.
