I used the New York City 3 way overlay stamps in combination with the New York skyline mask (both from Claritystamp) to create this card.
Trim a piece of Clarity stencil card to 6.5” x 6.5”. Stamp the outline New York City three way overlay stamp towards the bottom left corner in Onyx Black Versafine ink.
Mask off the stamping and add the New York mask to the card. Mask off a straight line along the top of the stamped area.
Blend Blueprint Sketch Distress Oxide through the opening with a foam blending tool.
Use the mask outer to cover the inked area, moving it down the card.
Mask off along the bottom of the stamping and blend Barn Door Distress Oxide through the gap. Remove all the masking.
Use a black Sakura micron pen to add squiggly lines along the top and the bottom of the inky panel.
Add the same colour distress inks as before to the #2 line infill stamp and add colour to the stamping.
Die cut a heart from stencil card using the smallest nested heart die, colour it with Barn Door Distress Oxide and triple heat emboss with clear embossing powder.
Add the heart to the panel.
Using the Alphabet & Numbers Word Chain stamps, add I above the heart and NY below the heart in Onyx Black Versafine ink. Heat emboss with clear powder.
To finish, mat the topper onto black card leaving a very narrow border and add it to the front of a 7” x 7” white card blank.
