Halloween Tag Bookmark

The current prompt over on Tag Tuesday is Autumn/Halloween.  As I have just made an autumn tag for another challenge,  I decided to go with Halloween for this one.  I also had a new stamp that I wanted to use!

I started by adding a page from a book of Moliere scripts onto a #8 manilla tag, along with a piece of faux leather, left over from another project.  They were sealed with Distress Collage Medium, dried and trimmed.
A Faber-Castell Big Brush marker in Cobalt Green was used to blend colour over the script at the top of the tag.
In the meantime, I stamped the Count Catula stamp from Stampendous onto a piece of mixed media card in Onyx Black Versafine ink, then used my Brother Scan N Cut in direct cut mode to fussy cut the image.
Once the focal point had been coloured in using my small Sakura Pocket Field Sketch Box and a water brush, the image was sealed with distress glaze and added to the tag.
I used the same Big Brush marker as before to add shading around the cat, blended out with a Pergamano blending pen and nib.
A sentiment from the Small Talk Occasions sticker book (Tim Holtz idea-ology) was stuck on at the top and shading added around it in the same manner.
One of the Halloween quote chips from Tim Holtz finished off the tag.
This is such a cute image and I'm sure that I will be using it again before too long.
