Anniversary Card

This card was made for a lovely lady and her husband who recently celebrated their first wedding anniversary.
I started by using one of the Fresh Cut dies from Claritystamp (A Little Bird Told Me) directly onto the front of a 6"x 6" white card blank.  Even though it is really thick card, the die cut beautifully.
Next, I masked off around the die cut image using low tack masking tape, leaving a narrow border all round the aperture.  Ocean Teal Artistry ink was brushed lightly over the exposed area.
Rosy Cheeks Artistry ink was then added to the mix, again using light strokes to blend.
Once the masking tape was removed, the inking, although subtle, becomes more obvious.
A piece of black paper was cut to fit the inside front of the card.  This was glued into place behind the aperture.

I used the 'anniversary' and the 'your' stamp (from the Best Wishes Ribbon stamp set by Claritystamp) to stamp the sentiment along the bottom in Onyx Black Versafine ink.  'It's' had to be drawn in using a black embossing pen, as it is not part of the stamp set.  The whole sentiment was heat embossed using clear EP.
To finish, I added a squiggly line between the inked and non inked areas using a fine, black Posca pen.
