Green-Eyed Monster

I am not feeling well today, hence the late blog post (for me).  I went straight to bed last night instead of creating and preparing today's blog post.  Instead, I made this quick tag this morning with left overs from yesterday's journal page (see HERE).  I am entering it in the That's Crafty fortnightly challenge: Green with envy.
To be quick, I added the top layer of the paper towel mop up sheet that I had used on the journal page to a #8 manilla tag; sealed, dried and trimmed it all round.
I had die cut the scribble circle (Sizzix 660222) from white card and coloured it using some Spectrum Noir sparkle pens.  I hadn't used it on my journal page and when turned on its side, it reminded me of an eye.
I still had one of the pencils (stamped with Leaf green Archival ink using the Pencils stamp from Darkroom Door) that I had fussy cut, and added it at the bottom of the tag along with a Quote Chip by Tim Holtz.
As the theme of the challenge is 'green with envy' and the die cut reminded me of an eye, I printed 'BEWARE the green-eyed monster' with my Dymo Letratag onto clear plastic and added the sentiment above and below the 'eye'.
The final touch was to add some colour to the quote chip using the Mowed Lawn Distress Crayon.
