There seem to be a lot of challenges around at the moment which involve the colour green. This tag was created for the fortnightly Tag Tuesday prompt which starts today: Anything Goes - include some lime green. However I am also entering it in the current That's Crafty challenge: Green with Envy.
I have been using a lot of my bits lately in order to have something quick to share on my blog, due to having been suffering with a winter bug. This was no different. I started by adhering the bottom layer of a paper towel mop up sheet to a #8 manilla tag, sealing, drying and trimming as usual. This was followed by adding some strips left over from creating a patchwork background (for details and original card, see HERE). Having searched through my bit box, I found some die cut, stamped images (Onyx Black Versafine ink and clear embossing powder) which had been created with the background stamp and die set from the Heartfelt Creations Key to My Heart collection. A brad provided the splash of lime green. To finish and to add to the green theme, I went round the edges of the tag in Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn Distress crayons to create a frame.
