Music Tag

The current challenge over on Tag Tuesday is Music; however as I've only used Visible Image stamps I will also be entering it into their November challenge which happens to be  'tags'.
As usual I worked on a #8 manilla tag.  I started by applying the top layer of a paper towel mop up sheet, which I had used to try out lots of different archival inks using the sound wave stamp from the Music Speaks set by Visible Image.  I loved the random effect and the variation of intensity.
As the theme is music, I overlaid a music section of the Melange Tissue Wrap by Tim Holtz and sealed it with Distress Collage medium.  This is translucent so the stamped layer still shows through.
To emphasize the colours of the stamping, I used Distress crayons in Blueprint Sketch, Mermaid Lagoon and Twisted Citron around the edges, blended out with my fingers.
I didn't feel that much more was needed, so simply stamped the sentiment 'Music on World off' from the Visible Image stamp set of the same name, using Versamark ink and heat embossing in True White detail embossing powder by Cosmic Shimmer.
