This tag came about following an art journal page created with mainly left over bits and pieces. I decided to do the same with a tag.
I started by gluing a gelli print background created with Pebeo Dyna paints and bubble wrap onto a #8 manilla tag. The print was sealed with Distress Collage medium, dried and trimmed. I decided to add some extra colour by tearing a piece of deli paper mop up sheet (Lava Red and Ancient Copper Cosmic Shimmer mica spray), gluing it down the left hand side and sealing in the same manner. A left over piece of the Postale tissue wrap by Tim Holtz was torn and added in the same way down the right hand side. In my die cuts bit box I found a black die cut swirl (Crafts Too) and added that. Next, I found a butterfly (Tim Holtz Flutterby stamps and Sizzix die set) which had been coloured with Ecoline pens and which coordinated. I also coloured one of the Tim Holtz Quote Chips using the same Ecoline pens to create a random, patchwork effect and glued both pieces in place. A couple of suitable quotes from the Small Talk sticker pad by Tim Holtz completed the tag.
