 As my shed had a new floor and a new roof over the summer, I thought it was about time that I blogged an updated tour of my craft space.

Scribble Stamps and Stencils: Ideas and Inspiration

 I have always enjoyed playing with the stamps and stencils designed by Leonie Pujol for Claritystamp.  Here, I have brought together some ideas for using the scribble stamps and stencils.

They make great backgrounds for art journal pages (see HERE).

WOYWW 651: Still No Voice

 Keeping the weekly desk sahring short and to the point.  Please visit Julia at Stamping Ground to find out more about WOYWW.  Sorry I didn't visit anyone last week.  I have spent most of it in bed and still have no voice - signed off work for at least a week now so I can continue to rest it.

Not much has happened on the desk this week, although I have just about managed to keep up with a quick daily drawing and set work for school.

As you can see they have been very quick and simple this week.  Apart from the lack of voice I am starting to feel a little more human, so will try and be better with my visiting this week.  Stay safe and Happy WOYWW.

I had plenty of fun choosing teeny stamps to go with this Grunge Montage stamp set.

Snow Globe Art Journal Pages

I have used the Clarity Snow Globe outline stamp a couple of times to create art journal pages for challenges.  Here, the three suggested colours were Snow White, Ice Blue and Silver Sparkle , there were eight steps to follow and a choice of five prompt words.

I am keeping up with my daily drawing and posted some samples off on Monday, but otherwise not a lot to see.  I am not feeling particularly creative thanks to laryngitis and a snotty cold.  The tests continue to be negative though so just a winter bug.  I had my booster jab on Saturday so that may also be partially to blame.

I may see if I can be excused the training after school this evening so I can have an early night - if I make it in at all.  It's a light teaching day, but I usually get 6 sets of books marked in school on a Wednesday so I don't want to fall behind.  Stay safe and Happy WOYWW everyone.

Daily Drawing Challenge: The Ongoing Story

 Happily I am now half way through November and on the last lap of my daily drawing challenge in 2021.  I have been using the #drawingaday prompts from November 2017.  Here's the story of November so far.

I thought the cockrel gave a cool finishing touch.

I went with a literal interpretation.

I am still not confident drawing people so drew them from behind at the cinema.

If only lol...

I decided to go with a Doctor Who reference and drew a fish finger with a jug of custard.

Definitely not something I am brave enought to attempt.

Another easy one to interpret.

Coming so soon after bonfire night this prompt was not as difficult to interpret as I might have thought.

Music always cheers me up!

My inner critic keeps telling me I still can't draw!

It wasn't until after I had finished this that I realised that a cenotaph would have been more suitable for Remembrance Day.

Being a teacher this was my immediate thought lol.

Once again my first thought, but this time as a paper crafter.

I do eat lots of apples.

Another easy prompt.  Half way through November already!

I created a quick panel card with a row of the Clarity Squiggle Tree stamps.

I played around with colour and colouring stamps using water based markers to create this card.

Have a Fab Day Rainbow Card

You don't have to use the montage frames which come with some of the latest stamp sets from Clarity.  Here I used some of the extra stamps which come with the Fab Day Grunge Montage set tp create a rainbow hued panel card.

Christmas Doodle Montage Card

I had a play with one of the new Clarity Montage stamp sets to create this Christmas card on kraft card.

Beautiful Imperfections: A Colourful Background

This stamp set which is part of today's One Day Special from Claritystamp on The Craft Store is so versatile.  I had a great deal of fun creating a colourful background which needed little more than a sentiment to finish the card.

WOYWW 649: Back in the Swing of Work

 Morning and welcome to the weekly desk sharing thanks to WOYWW and Julia at Stamping Ground.

My desk looks a little different this morning.  I have been playing with some of the new Montage stamp sets from Clarity which are this evening's One Day Special on The Craft Store.

This is the first sample I made with the set at the bottom.  I am still drawing every day.  Here are the latest since Inktober finished.

I have my booster jab booked for Saturday and I had my flu jab back in September so I will feel a bit more confident after it is done.  I am still wearing a mask in school and have avoided COVID19 up to now.

Eva popped in for some crafting last Thursday - with some colouring as you can see. 

I'll be round in the morning to visit as I have training after school this evening.  Stay safe and Happy WOYWW everyone.
