A Scrappy Tag!

This tag is one of those which came together very quickly using bits from my scrap box.  It was embellished with some of my recently acquired design tape from Tim Holtz.
I started with an old favourite; adding the top layer of a paper towel mop up sheet onto a #8 manilla tag, sealing it with Distress matte collage medium, drying and trimming.  This particular paper towel had been used to mop up some of the latest Distress Oxides (Mustard Seed, Mowed Lawn and Ripe Persimmon) as well as stamping off excess Archival ink from some of the IndigoBlu Collector's Edition stamps.
I had the left over remnant of a piece of deli paper which had been used to clean off some brushes, then later die cut using the largest of the Sue Wilson City Skyline dies for a previous project (see HERE).  I glued a section of it along the top of the tag to represent a night sky.
To provide sentiments and to balance out the tag, I used sections of design tape from the Chatter collection by Tim Holtz to create meaningful phrases at the bottom.
To finish, I added a word at the top and some of the sparkly tape for emphasis.  I love how the tag turned out for something that was not planned in the least.
