Canvas Journal Page: Sun, Sea and Sand

The current challenge over on Country View Challenges is 'Sun, Sea and Sand'.  For a change, I decided to work on a canvas board.  It also fits the current prompt on Nina Ribena's Art Journal Prompts and More 'On Your Travels'.
I worked on a 6" x 6" canvas board from Claritystamp.  Using a spatula I added Yellow Ochre Amsterdam acrylic paint across the bottom of the canvas.
Using the same method,  I added a little Gold Ochre across the bottom and a mixture of Brilliant Blue and Sky Blue Light across the top.  A stripe of Brilliant Blue gives an impression of the sea.  I deliberately left areas of white space.
The Beauty & the Beach stamp from Creative Expressions was stamped onto a piece of Sheena's stamping card in Onyx Black Versafine ink.
The beach umbrella stamp (one of the freebies with a recent Creative Stamper magazine) was also stamped onto the card and directly onto the canvas.
Once the Beauty image had been coloured using my Kuretake Clean Colour pens, it was fussy cut and added to the canvas.
Pewter Amsterdam acrylic paint was added to the pole of the beach umbrella.  The canopy was coloured in on the stamping card using the Clean Colour pens, fussy cut and added to the canvas.
Finally, another of the free stamps was stamped directly onto the canvas using Onyx Black Versafine ink and heat embossed with clear EP.
