Bingo Tag: Embossed Background

Having prepared a blog post which I can't share until tomorrow, I needed a quick project to share today.  The current challenge over on Tag Tuesday is 'Bingo', so I created this tag using a mop up sheet for speed.
I started with one of my quick backgrounds: adding the top layer of a piece of paper towel to a #8 manilla tag.  This one had been used to mop up the left over Distress oxides from a previous project (Ripe Persimmon, Mustard Seed, Mowed Lawn and Crushed Olive).  I had also used it to clean Archival ink (Monarch Orange) off a couple of my IndigoBlu Collector's Edition stamps (No. 2 French Script and No. 16 Letters).  The mop up sheet was sealed with distress collage medium (matte), dried and trimmed.
I used the Sizzix Bingo embossing folder to add texture to the tag and swiped over the raised sections with Acorn Archival ink.
The same folder and method was used to complete the background.  I made sure that the edges of the embossing folder were hanging outside the embossing sandwich each time before running them through my Grand Calibre, so I didn't get a line across the tag where I didn't want one.
One of the Tim Holtz Paper Dolls fit perfectly and was glued into place.
To finish, I chose an appropriate Quote Chip (Tim Holtz idea-ology), coloured it with Distress markers to match the background and glued it into place.
