Blackout Background Tag

This tag was created - to help me unwind after work - for the Spring/Easter prompt on Tag Tuesday.  I decided to use a method of creating a background that I've used before (having seen Carolyn Craven's backgrounds), but with a paper towel mop up sheet as the base rather than a painted background and using a stencil rather than stamps.
Working on a #8 manilla tag, I added the top layer of a paper towel mop up sheet with matte medium, sealed, dried and trimmed.
Next, I lay the Eggs stencil by Claritystamp (NDSC09) over the tag, then went round the apertures with a Sakura 05 black micron pen.
All the areas surrounding the eggs were given a coat of black gesso.
One of the Bunny stamps by Claritystamp was added to the largest egg in Jet Black Archival ink.
The same stamp was stamped in Watering Can Archival ink on a piece of Sheena's stamping card.  It was coloured in cool grey Ecoline and Kuretake Clean Colour pens then fussy cut.  By gluing the image over the one stamped directly onto the tag, the need to cut out the whiskers was avoided.
Finally, the phrase 'We're going on an egg hunt' was created using words from the Chit Chat and Seasonal Chit Chat sticker books by Tim Holtz; were became we're with the addition of a hand written apostrophe.
