WOYWW 622: Two Weeks To Go

Only two more weeks until the 12th anniversary of WOYWW, the weekly blog hop hosted by Julia at Stamping Ground.  Plenty of craft spaces and desks to visit and friends to be made - please visit to find out more.

I have started sorting a few tags out of my collection but will probably save them for swapping until our next in person get together.  I am planning on making an anniversary tag for whoever my PIF turns out to be on the day and have still to source a local postcard.  As you can see, I have started a new sketchbook for my daily drawing session.

My second jab went off well on Sunday.  Very little soreness and not as tired as I was the first time around.  Stay safe everyone and Happy WOYWW.  I'll be round to visit in the morning if I don't make it after work this evening.

Glad the 2nd jab went well. Apart from Kew at the weekend I didn't get much done, not sure why atcs weren't on the list! take care. Helen #4

My second jab's on Saturday. Hubby had his yesterday, probably will sleep in a bit this morning. You have to make a card using that monster, love him! Stay safe. Still haven't found any nice postcards for the swap. There's usually loads, I guess it's because locals don't usually buy postcards! Have a Great crafty week and a Happy WOYWW!? ((Lyn)) #6

I wonder if your swap will be a pen and ink drawing, have you experimented with different nibs and such? ado you ever get the itch to colour them in, or is that overthinking the entire daily ‘thing’ of it I wonder. I like the look of the tags that I can see, and of course, enjoy checking your washi tapes to see if you’ve run out of any yet!

Happy WOYWW. I will be purchasing a postcard when I am next out in St Davids (which has lots of shops selling wonderful cards). Excited to see what everyone else will be creating/posting. Glad your 2nd jab was uneventful. Not had the appointment for our's yet. Thinking it might not be until July, as they said up to 12 weeks. Ali x #15

I must admit that I didn't get any after effects from my second one either, we must be a healthy pair!!!
Still loving all your sketches, some of them do make me laugh . . . . how your mind works to connect the work with the sketch! Love it!
have a good week

Love your monster and the star trek symbol drawings. We have been introducing Alex to the delights of star Trek - he has seen all the originals and we are on about series 8 of Next Generation! Glad your second vaccine went well. Happy WOYWW. Take care and stay safe. With love & God Bless, Caro xxx (#9)

Hi Sarah. Your little daily drawings continue to amaze me. You are so very good at thinking of them from just a single word hint! Well done.
Take care. God bless.

Love you little drawings - the monster made me smile, that's what I looked like this morning when I thought it was Tuesday, realised it was Wednesday and had 10 minutes to get to my pneumonia jab appt!
Have a good week and glad the sympotoms weren't as bad this time round.

Good to see you are so disciplined as to keep going with your daily drawings. I would be stuck with some of those words.
I know you like your tags but can I ask why you don't make atc's. It has always puzzled me - is it the lack of size?
Glad you had your second jab - you should feel quite safe in a couple of weeks having had the two. Still we have to obey the rules, better safe than sorry and the jab is not enough is it.
Hugs, Neet 7 xx

Love this week's crop of drawings, Sarah - love the benign looking monster, trying to look fiercer than he really is, but my favourite has to be "favourite" being a great Trek fan haha! My hubby and I are currently working our way through DS9 again on Netflix and enjoying every moment.

Happy WOYWW,

Really must get my act together for the swap, I hate doing things last minute even though it often does tend to work out better for me as I need a deadline to get going!!I have my 2nd jab booked for next Weds, really hoping it goes OK because I don't have time next week to muck about. Positive thinking! Have a good week, stay safe, stay well, love n hugs Cindyxx #14

Great sketches as usual, I think single might be showing your age - he he! My first single was a Cliff Richard one - Throw down a line! We don’t even have a record deck at the moment. Your “Kiss” is a great design. Glad the second jab went well, mine is on Saturday. Angela #23

Thanks for your visit, Sarah - so glad you like each further step with the kitty throw! I finished column 8 last night. I saw the nurse at the surgery today and she's referring me to the breast unit at the hospital and I should have an appointment within two weeks. I am glad they are getting on with it so quickly.

I'm so daft! I only realised this week that you are the same Sarah Brennan from Facebook / CITC!! Late to the party this week - stay safe and keep smiling, Lisa-Jane #8

Aaah, you are 'daily drawing' too! I collaborate with my son, making three drawings a week each (we started of with making one every day but with jobs and all, that got a little too much...) You can see those 'drawing posts' on my blog. I'm glad to hear you had your two vaccin shots... I will get the first one (Pfizer) next week... hope it will go well without side-effects... Thanks for visiting my blog the other day, enjoy your weekend. Hug from Holland, Marit #28

Trying to catch up on commenting - it is already Friday! The problem is because we are 9 hours in front I can't manage it on Wednesday and then the time just flies!

Hi, Sarah!
Sorry to be so late getting around! I can’t seem to keep up with my self, let alone remember what day it is.

Glad to hear your second vaccination went well. Ours did also but that really hasn’t changed our life any. Still staying home other than groceries and doctors appointments.

Stay safe and well

Happy 3rd Wednesday of the week 🤭

Hi Sarah! Sorry I am Sooooo late, the week ran away with me! You are now the first person I know who has had their second jab. I don't get mine until August, but hopefully they will call us all in early. I know England is finally opening up, I'm so jealous! We are still in lockdown, and I have a grandchild coming in a week or two. We've been watching "Victoria" on TV, I don't know if you get it, but the crown you drew reminds me of the beautiful purple crown she wear in the opening credits! And of course, Start Trek is a fav in this house too! Take Care, Lindart #34
