WOYWW 561: Feeling Tired

Welcome to my weekly contribution to What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday (WOYWW). A get together that has been going c/o Julia over on The Stamping Ground for nearly 11 years.
As the half term is now back in full swing, I prepared this post on Tuesday afternoon.  As you can see, I was working on some tags ready for posting off to my swap partner.  I was just getting started as the photo was taken, but had decided on the stamps that I wanted to use as the focal images and had picked a selection of possible backgrounds from my pile of paper towel mop up sheets and copy paper clean up pages.  My Werder Bremen mug sits empty to the left of the picture and my lap top to the right, ready for writing up notes of the process. An empty soup bowl is waiting to be taken into the house in the background.
I can't show you the finished items as I haven't had chance to post them yet, but these are the ones that I was working on on a previous occasion, that I can now share.  I can tell you that the prompt is animals though.
It will probably be tomorrow morning before I come round to visit, as I am finding myself extremely tired when I get in from work.  Happy WOYWW: March already WOW!

Great samples, Sarah! I rarely do anything when I get home from work so it must be great to have time in the week to have a play! Helen #3

What bright sunny tags, perfect for welcoming Spring and also for cheering us up on a dull day.
Haven't a clue what Werder Bremen is so asked my other half if it was a football team and he said 'yes'. See, i knew it had to be footie for you. Was this from a trip with school?

Your tags are lovely, Sarah, really pretty and spring-like. Just what we need on these cold damp days. I am sure you must be tired after a day’s teaching and I’m always amazed at how much you workers (like Helen too) manage to do when you work full time. The soup bowl was a dead give-away - caught red-handed - another person who eats al desko lol! (Hope it was good.)

Happy WOYWW,

Lovely bright tags Sarah, perfect for Spring. I would struggle with the animals prompt. I say that and am mentally checking my stamps...i probably wouldn’t actually, I just don’t use animal images very often. Gut there was a recent chameleon wasn’t there...and my last workshop featured a glittered cat. So no, I Lie! Argh!! I’ve given up eating at my desk.....I have to stop what I’m doing to eat, so I just stay in the kitchen or at the table nowadays. Especially as the danger of losing crockery under a pile of stash is very high!!

Your tags are awesome! So bright and "Springy"! I can certainly understand you coming home exhausted from work, I hardly ever do anything after work except maybe dinner and crash! I like the fact that you save all your mop up papers, I should start doing that too. Have a great week, Lindart #22

Half term seems weeks ago now doesn't it, Sarah. I know what you mean about being tired. I doze off in front of the TV most evenings.
Your tags are stunning, so colourful and spring like.
Have a good week

Your tags are gorgeous! And so cool that you use mop up and cleaner pages for your backgrounds! My mop up is a microfiber cloth that gets washed with hubby's grubbys.
Have a great week!

Hi Sarah, you've picked some lovely colours for the tags - very spring like and cheery. My mop up papers end up in the bin, I would never be creative enough to do something like that. Is the mug a souvenir from one of your school trips? Have a lovely week Heather xx #6

I really like the multi-layered effects on the tags -especially the way the colours show throught the translucent white leaf shapes. Work related-tiredness is horrible. I try to do a little something every day, even if it's just a couple of rows of knitting, but sometimes you juat have to surrender to it, put your feet up and rest! Have a restful week!

Thanks for visiting, Sarah. Sorry your first attempt was blocked. This is becoming a bit of a pain on my blog - several people have reported this. I am trying to keep on top of my somewhat over-zealous spam-checking. Anyway, this comment certainly got through and I didn't have to do anything! Glad you like my knots, and Lily and Ruby say miaow back!

Good morning, Sarah. I'm late getting 'round this week as I've just been putting every second into the studio redo. I love the colors on those. Not sure the transformation will be shown Wednesday as I've managed to flood the basement. A minor setback, but a set back non the less. Creative Blessings! Kelly #27
