Metal Leaf stamped Easel Card

There's nothing like adding a bit of bling to a card in the form of metal flakes.  I added a touch to this easel card by stamping in metal leaf glue.
Score the front of a 5” x 5” kraft card blank in half to create an easel base.
Cut a second kraft card blank in half. Stamp the #1 outline stamp from the Spread your wings stamp set in Versamark ink into the centre of one half and heat emboss with detail white embossing powder.
Stamp the #2 infill stamp over the top using Pentart metal leaf glue (do not leave the stamp on the card for too long) and add metal flakes in Variegated Copper and Gold (M4). Burnish away the excess.
Use the #3 background stamp to add Picket Fence Distress ink to the background.
Cut a frame out of Clarity stencil card using the 3.75” and 4.25” nested square picot dies. Add it around the image.
Add the card front to the easel base.
Cut a piece of Clarity stencil card to 12.5cm x 6cm. Use the corresponding stencil to add three of the birds in Vintage Photo Distress Oxide.
Add one of Barbara’s word stickers.
Add touches of Rusty Hinge Distress Oxide.
To finish, add to the base of the easel with foam pads.

Thanks for sharing the step by step with us as the end result is so effective with the white outline to the gold.
