WOYWW 560: Back To Work

Welcome to the weekly link up with What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday where desks of all shapes, sizes and states of tidiness can be perused, thanks to our hostess with the mostest Julia at The Stamping Ground.
My desk this week shows some lovely art gifts from Jane and Kaz from the JJAMMMA meet up last Thursday.  Jane was my partner for the Clarity ATC swap for February.
The theme was New Beginnings and this is the one that I swapped.  Kaz kindly gave me a page from the Clarity Feathered Friends colouring book that she had coloured for me.  She is also responsible for the lovely pencil rest that stops my pencil from rolling around my glass mat.  I had a brilliant afternoon catching up with friends.
Friday saw a day out in Liverpool where we visited the Tate Liverpool, the Museum of Liverpool and Albert Dock.  It was an extremely blowy day though.
Hope you are all staying dry and that no one has been flooded.  Happy WOYWW.  I'll be round this evening or tomorrow morning to visit, depending on how I feel after work.

Hi Sarah, love the art gifts. Especially the picture, I have the stamps of those owls.Fab atc's, and great idea for the pencil rest. I use a piece of that rubbery drawer/shelf liner on my desk for that purpose. Have a lovely week, Hugs, Shaz #6 X

What thoughtful gifts. Great ATCs between you too, how nice. Great to have a day of galleries, i would like to visit Liverpool and see all the regeneration for myself, it sounds such a great and very happening place.

What lovely gifts you have to show us this morning. I especially like the pencil holder - what a good idea, when I get up to sewing I think that is something i will make myself. I hate pencils rolling off the desk and the leads breaking throughout the casing.
Glad you had a good day in Liverpool, lots to see there.
Hugs, Neet 9 xx

Hi Sarah, the gifts from your friends are lovely. I like the pencil rest - it should save an awful lot of broken lead. The ATCs are both beautiful. Your day out sounds perfect if it wasn't for the wind. It's many years since I last visited Liverpool but enjoyed time looking round the Tate and the Albert Dock area too - I remember there was a Christmas shop open all year long. Hugs, Elizabeth x #21

It sounds like you had a lovely time meeting up with your friends, and it looks like you all came away with some special gifts, as well as the memories to treasure. I also enjoyed the very striking black and white card in your next post. Have a lovely week!

Thanks for your visit, Sarah. I've heard from the hospital today with another bladder appointment in April, when they will look at my bladder diary and see if I need to be referred on. It will be some time before I hear back from Exeter, though. Sorry to hear you've had to send the grandkitty back - it must be a real wrench! Lily and Ruby say meaow. So glad you like my fishes! I'm now working on some Celtic knotwork motifs which should be ready to share on the next WOYWW.
