This is the ATC that I created for the Claritystamp February swap. The theme was New Beginnings.
Cut a piece of stencil card to 2.5” x 3.5”. Cover with a piece of paper towel mop up sheet in shades of yellow and orange. Seal, dry and trim.
Stamp the two egg shell halves from the Clarity Chicks and Eggs stamp set in Sepia Versafine ink onto kraft card. Over stamp the egg shell halves with the A6 Dots and Spots Grunge stamp in Frayed Burlap Distress Oxide. Repeat with Weathered Wood Oxide. Finish off with a layer of Old Paper Distress Oxide using the same stamp. Fussy cut the egg shells and edge them with a brown brush pen. Stamp one of the chicks from the same stamp set directly onto the ATC using Onyx Black Versafine ink. Add the egg shells to the ATC and seal the whole thing with matte medium. Dry thoroughly. Add shading with Faber-Castell Big Brush markers blended out with a Pergamano blending pen and nibs. Add one of Barbara’s word stickers. To finish, add shading with an Inktense pencil blended out with a water colour brush pen.
