The theme for the February mission over on Mission Inspiration is Love is In the Air. The three colours are Deep Red, Hot Pink and Gold and the choice of prompt words is Hearts, Romance, Roses, Kisses and Together. This is my interpretation.
Cover a double spread in a handmade paper journal with clear gesso and dry thoroughly. Add Pebeo Decocreme paint in Passionate Red over both pages with a large paint brush.
Add Picked Raspberry Distress Paint through the Clarity A5 Hearts stencil with a foam tool. Cover both pages.
Stamp the heart shaped padlock from the Key to my Heart stamp set from Claritystamp three times in Versamark ink onto Clarity stencil card and heat emboss with detail gold embossing powder.
Fussy cut the padlocks.
Pounce Amsterdam Light Gold paint through the Clarity New Design Stencil Club rose stencil (#45) with a foam tool over the left hand page.
Do the same on the right hand page, this time using the Clarity Sweets stencil.
Add the heart padlocks and seal both pages with matte gel medium. Dry thoroughly.
Add shading/colour using Faber-Castell Big Brush markers blended out with a Pergamano blending pen and nibs.
Add one of the Christmas & Celebration word stickers to the left hand padlock. Add one of the Tim Holtz Paper Dolls.
To finish, stamp Kisses from Word Chain 15 into the top left corner in Versafine ink and heat emboss with gold powder. Add a drop shadow using a black micron pen.
