I had more fun with a play on words when creating this get well soon card.
Score the front of a 5” x 5” black card blank in half to create an easel card base.
Cut a second card blank in half. Die cut the Cats on a Comfy Chair Aperture die from the centre of one half. Cut round the aperture using the 4.25” nested square picot die. Cut a mat from Waimea Falls designer paper using the 4.5” nested square die and mat the two layers together. Add these to the other half of the 5” x 5” black card blank. Colour in the armchair using oil based colouring pencils and blend out the colour with Dorso oil and a Pergamano blending pen and nib. Add the card front to the easel base. Trim the left over Waimea Falls card to 4.75” x 2.25”. Stamp Hope (Mini Word Chains 5&6) You’re (MWC 19&20) Feline (Word and Numbers Word Chains) Well Soon (MWC 15&16) in Onyx Black Versafine ink and heat emboss with clear embossing powder. Mat onto a piece of black card 2.5” x 5”. To finish, add the sentiment panel to the base of the easel card, lining up the edges and corners and using foam pads for additional dimension.
