A great set of craft a long projects were shown yesterday. Here is my project with the Forget Me Not aperture die using designer paper as a backdrop.
Cut the front off a 5” x 5” black card blank. Cut a piece of Great Lakes designer paper to 4.75” x 4.75” and mat it onto the black card. Die cut the Forget Me Not aperture die from black card and fussy cut the heart out of the aperture. Add it to the designer paper using spray adhesive. Colour the flowers using a bright blue Sakura sparkle pen. Add white gel pen to the centre of the flowers then add white dots to the lettering. Add a little yellow sparkle to the centre of the flowers. Score the front of a 5” x 5” white blank card in half to create an easel. Add the panel onto the easel section. Cut the aperture again, this time out of white card and snip out the lettering. Mat this onto a piece of the same Great Lakes designer paper 4.75” x 2.25” matted onto black card 5” x 2.5”. Add dots to the lettering using a black fine liner. Outline the lettering in the same pen. To finish, add the panel to the inside of the card with foam tape to hold the easel in place.
