One of my resolutions in 2020 is to participate in more challenges with the groups that I am part of. This is for the January tag challenge over on Tag It Tuesday.
The prompts for this month's challenge are 1) Make polka dots, 2) Collage with napkins, 3) Use your least favourite colour, 4) Add squares. As you can see I used three of the prompts (at least two are required).
Use the largest nested dome tag die to cut a tag from Clarity stencil card.
Collage with a piece of paper towel (napkin) used to mop up yellow and burgundy inks (definitely my least favourite colour combination). Dry and trim the excess.
Stamp the smallest Cherry Green Doodleology Square stamp onto a scrap of stencil card three times in Crimson Versafine ink. Colour areas of the squares in shades of yellow and yellow ochre water colour pencils and blend out the colours with a water brush. Fussy cut the squares leaving a very narrow white border and add them to the tag. Seal the tag with gel medium and dry thoroughly. Add shading round the squares with an Indian Red Faber-Castell Pitt artist pen blended out with a Pergamano blending pen and nib. Add further colour to the squares with a Green Gold Pitt artist pen. To finish, add three of Barbara’s word stickers and shade with the same Pitt pens as before.
