Safari Art Journal Page

I didn't find time to join in with Mission Inspiration in 2019 so I am determined to do better in 2020.  There are no longer individual steps to follow, just a theme, a colour palette and five words of inspiration.  This month the colours were clay, amber and sunset, the words: Safari, Jungle, Explore, Journey, Wildlife and the theme 'Animals of the World'.  Here is my interpretation.
Coat a double page of handmade paper with transparent gesso and dry thoroughly. Scribble Butterscotch and Tangerine Gelatos over both pages and blend out with a finger.
Use a wide wet brush to blend out the Gelatos even more.
Dab Adirondack Terra Cotta paint through the Clarity Alligator Skin 2 stencil to create the impressions of a giraffe in the background.
Stamp the giraffes from the Safari Animals stamp set in Terra Cotta Adirondack ink onto a piece of Clarity stencil card.
Fussy cut the image and add it to the page.
Stamp the zebras from the same set in Onyx Black Versafine ink onto stencil card, fussy cut and add them to the page in the opposite corner.

Seal the page with matte medium and dry thoroughly. Use Faber-Castell big brush markers to add shading around the animals blended out with a Pergamano blending pen and nib.
Paint wooden letters forming the word SAFARI in the same Terra Cotta paint as before. Once dry edge each letter with a black brush marker.

Print out the beginning and end of the quote ‘There is no wifi on SAFARI but you make a better connection’ onto clear plastic using a Dymo Letratag. Trim it down. To finish add the quote to the page.
