I made this card on Monday in readiness for the new year. I couldn't resist working with the floral number stamps from Claritystamp as they are so pretty. I also had another play with my new water colour pencils.
Stamp the floral 2 and 0 onto a piece of Clarity stencil card trimmed to 13.8cm x 13.8cm. Use Versamark ink and heat emboss in copper embossing powder. Do this twice.
Add 'Happy New Year' from the Jayne's postcard framer set along the side in the same manner, and 2020 using the smaller numerals which come with the floral numbers.
Use two colours of green water colour pencils on the ivy and the 2s. Blend them out with a watercolour brush pen.
Colour the remaining flowers and the 0s in pinks and blend out in the same way.
Mat onto black card (14.3cm x 14.3cm) leaving a narrow border, then onto green card (15.3cm x 15.3cm). Finally mat onto pink card (15.8cm x 15.8cm).
To finish, add the panel to the front of a 17.2cm x 17.2cm white card blank.
