Making Curtains to Fit the View!

As these new dies from Claritystamp show a view through a window, I decided to make some tissue paper curtains to frame the scene.
Cut the Room with a View Sunshine die from the front of a 5” x 5” black card blank. Add a piece of the Toscana designer paper (4.75” x 4.75”) behind the aperture.
Cut a piece of pink tissue paper to 4.5” x 4.5”. Fold in a concertina and punch holes along the top using the smallest Crop-O-Dile punch.
Thread the tissue paper panel onto a wooden skewer. Repeat the process with a second piece of tissue paper.
Sew the skewer onto the front of the card using invisible thread and trim each end level with the edges of the card.
Add glue to the pleats of the ‘curtains’ at the bottom of the card to hold them in place.
To finish, add a couple of the Christmas and Celebrations stickers to the front of the card.
