Patchwork Wreath

The entwined floral wreath stamps are quite large, but this doesn't mean that they have to be used in their entirety.  I created a patchwork effect on this card using dies and a stencil.
Trim a piece of stencil card to 6.5cm wide. Lay the framework squares stencil over the top, creating a hinge down the left hand side with a piece of masking tape.
Stamp the bird section of the wreath into the bottom square in Versamark ink and heat emboss in detail gold embossing powder. Lift the stencil back before adding the powder and heating.
Add the acorns to the top square in the same manner.
Repeat in the middle square using the leaf section of the wreath.
Using the second smallest nested square picot die, cut three squares along the right hand side of the front of a 7” x 7” black card blank. Use the other side of the framework squares stencil to line up the die each time.
Add a light layer of Wild Bilberry Artistry ink to each of the stamped squares using ink left on a Clarity stencil brush and remove the stencil.
Colour the acorns, leaves and the bird using colouring pencils.
To finish, add the panel behind the apertures in the front of the card. Stamp Autumn from the same stamp set in Versamark ink and heat emboss in gold embossing powder directly onto the front of the card.
